Job Description

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Partnerships, Effective Philanthropy, you will provide strategic advice and support to team members, enabling the effective establishment and ongoing management of collaborations and relationships with partners and stakeholders.

You will contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team and drive impact by working productively and efficiently, partnering closely with other Focus and Enabler areas as part of our matrix structure while promoting our One Minderoo Culture.

As the Senior Advisor, Partnerships, Natural Ecosystems, you will focus on partners, stakeholders and beneficiaries to support the execution of Minderoo’s strategic goals.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Natural Ecosystems Focus Area team members to establish and manage collaborations with partners in line with our partnering philosophy and processes.
  • Providing advice to team members to strengthen outcomes by deepening their understanding of partnership management practices.
  • Collaborating with Natural Ecosystems team members to scope and develop partnership agreements.
  • Serving as a liaison between partners and internal stakeholders, fostering open communication and mutual understanding.
  • Assessment of Natural Ecosystems partnerships for strategic value and alignment, effectiveness and learnings.
  • Maintaining broad sector knowledge and building strong, values aligned relationships and networks across enabling functions and multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

About You

You are a collaborative and purpose-driven professional who thrives in partnership environments and believes in the power of relationships to create positive change. You hold a degree qualification or bring equivalent practical experience.

Additionally, you will bring:

  • Around 10 years’ experience working in the oceans, climate or biodiversity sectors, with a focus on delivering meaningful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in an advisory role, offering guidance on internal processes and supporting effective decision-making.
  • Advanced digital skills, including proficiency with the MS Office suite, and experience working with databases such as CRMs.
  • Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to unite diverse perspectives, build trusted relationships, and negotiate effectively with partners and stakeholders to drive impact and improve results.
