PSRF is seeking a full-time Microalgae Production Lead or Technician (level to be determined based on experience, technical expertise, and leadership capacity) to join our team at the Kenneth K. Chew Center for Shellfish Research and Restoration (Chew Center), the conservation hatchery that we operate at NOAA’s Manchester Research Station on the Kitsap Peninsula. The position is responsible for the cultivation, maintenance, and monitoring of microalgae cultures – a critical foundation for hatchery research and restoration efforts at the Chew Center. The ideal candidate is passionate about marine conservation and comfortable working in an aquaculture production setting. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay range of $21-$26 per hour (commensurate with experience) and a competitive benefits package (medical, vision, and dental benefits; voluntary life and disability insurance; retirement savings plan with company match; flexible PTO; and bonus program).
