PADI, the global leader in Ocean Exploration, is searching for a full-time Global Copywriter to join our global consumer marketing team. Reporting to the Creative Director at PADI Worldwide, the Global Copywriter plays an integral role on the PADI Creative Services team supporting all marketing channels with clear, engaging, on brand messaging for consumer audiences. They will research the brand's voice and style requirements to produce front-facing content that persuades consumers to engage with content related to learning to dive, continued dive education, conservation and all related consumer activations. English is the primary language, but fluency in any other non-English languages a definite plus. The copywriter will also champion the company's goals and missions while using their creativity to produce polished and effective text.

What You Will Do  Responsible for writing text for ad slogans, headlines, body copy and calls to action  Writing email campaigns, social media posts, paid advertising content, online CTA’s and product descriptions, blog articles and any other avenues the company uses to communicate to consumers  Writing text for PADI.com, all subdomains and affiliated landing pages  Editing and optimizing copy for PADI eLearning, PADI Gear, PADI Club and PADI Travel  Assisting Videographer and Creative Director in developing copy for video titles, storyboard scripts, interviews, dialogue and narration  Optimizing YouTube video titles and descriptions by utilizing SEO best practices  Maintaining PADI brand style and tone guidelines globally  Working with training consultants when educational copy deems necessary  Clear and open communication with all channel owners  Ensuring copywriting meets SEO standards and guidelines to drive organic traffic

What You Will Need To Be Successful:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication or marketing  Experience producing copy for print and digital media channels  Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns  Exceptional skill in social media writing, including use of hashtags and relevant acronyms  Experience writing content with both a global and regional lens  Proficiency with common office software  Skilled with SEO principles and social media marketing  Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team  Experience in proofreading content and editing  Organization and project management experience to work on several projects at once  Writing and publishing blog articles and newsletters a plus, but not essential  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication or marketing  Portfolio of writing samples, which demonstrates their creativity and professional experience  Minimum 1-2 years experience as a professional copywriter  Passionate about the dive industry, and conservation efforts  Ability to work flexible hours and attend virtual meetings for global integration  Bilingual in any non-English language a plus, but not essential  PADI Open Water certification or equivalent a plus, but not essential
