MSC has been investing in its digital platforms to enable a high-performing global organisation. This fixed-term role plays an important part in continuing that journey, with a strong focus on improving how our Finance systems support the organisation.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative Technology & Data team, alongside other Business Systems Managers, supporting a diverse suite of IT systems used by both internal staff and external stakeholders. You’ll be supported by and report to the Senior Business Systems Manager, working closely with peers across the team. A key focus of this role will be leading the replacement of our current Finance platform, a project that has already been approved and is ready to move forward.
You’ll work closely with Finance and Technology colleagues to deliver a new system from requirements through to go-live, while also improving internal platforms like Office 365 to drive practical, user-focused change.
Most of the MSC’s stakeholders and suppliers operate within UK or European time zones, meaning development releases and sprints are usually delivered within UK working hours. The majority of the IT team is based in London, with additional team members located in Sydney, Germany and the Netherlands.

The MSC is committed to flexible working. The successful candidate will need to work from the London, UK office for a minimum of 50% of their working time each month The remaining time can be worked from home. During the onboarding process, hybrid work may require more in-office work than remote work.
