Are you driven by a love of technology and eager to make a real difference by helping others use it with confidence? Would you like to be part of a forward-thinking team where your ideas and enthusiasm can shape how colleagues work with IT every day?

If this sounds like you, then this role could be the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career in IT.

In this fixed-term role (1 year), you’ll play a key part in staff inductions, ongoing learning, and exciting digital transformation projects. You’ll support the rollout of new tools, contribute to the smooth running of core systems, and empower colleagues through impactful training with oversight from the IT Operations team. You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values growth, creativity, and initiative — all within an organisation dedicated to safeguarding our oceans and promoting sustainable seafood for future generations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into the world of IT. We’re looking for a motivated individual with a genuine interest in technology and a desire to learn. You’ll bring a basic understanding of IT systems—perhaps from education, self-study, or volunteering—and a willingness to get hands-on with troubleshooting, user support, and system administration.

Strong communication skills are key, as you’ll be helping colleagues understand and use technology confidently. You’ll enjoy explaining technical concepts in simple, engaging ways and adapting your style to different learning needs. If you have experience with Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint or Dynamics, that’s a great start. Most importantly, you’ll be curious, proactive, and ready to grow your skills in a supportive team environment.

We’re an international organisation and our employees all demonstrate a level of cultural awareness, and value the diverse views and approaches relevant to the MSC program.
