Are you enthusiastic about the ocean and sustainability? Do you aspire to join a global organization, working within a dynamic DACH & Benelux team based in The Hague, Netherlands?

If you are an organized, dynamic, and enthusiastic, person eager to learn new things and support a busy and dynamic DACH & Benelux team, this could be the opportunity for you!

Working with some of the brightest minds in seafood sustainability, this position offers the right candidate an opportunity to support the DACH & Benelux program (responsible for key markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium), while operating within the world’s largest global seafood certification organization. You will be part of a creative and high impact team, engaging with people from all over the world, while contributing to the future health of our oceans.

The role will provide direct support to the Program Director, DACH & Benelux and will directly look after our office facilities and administration in The Hague (NL) and in Brussels (BE).

You will:

  • be a key component of the Benelux team, enabling it to function dynamically and efficiently.
  • work closely with our team in Berlin (GER), supporting on cross-cutting events to ensure MSC’s public-facing engagement runs smoothly and professionally.

We’re looking for someone:

  • with strong administrative and organisational skills,
  • who can manage and support a programme of work across multiple countries.
  • who can engage and work with teams elsewhere in Europe and beyond, so excellent English language skills are essential.

You will also be people-centred and energetic, bringing a positive, can-do approach to all that we do in a busy and highly dynamic environment.

If this has inspired you, please apply here with your CV (in English) and a covering letter (in Dutch).

We look forward to hearing from you!

We’re an international organisation and our employees all demonstrate a level of cultural awareness, and value the diverse views and approaches relevant to the MSC program.

The MSC is committed to flexible working. The successful candidate will need to work from the Netherland office (in the Hague) for a minimum of 50% of their working time each month. The remaining time can be worked from home. During the onboarding process, hybrid work may require more in-office work than remote work.
