The Vacancy

Do you understand the power of digital traceability in modern supply chains? Are you a strong listener and communicator, able to bridge the gap between users, suppliers, and internal teams?

If so, you could be our next Business Systems Manager—owning the development of a new digital traceability system and managing its technical and data delivery within a dynamic, cross-functional project.

Join us at an exciting time as we develop a new traceability standard supported by a digital system.

Currently in pilot, the next phases will see us expanding user testing and moving into delivery and implementation. You'll play a key role in shaping a tool that supports our auditing process and meets evolving data and traceability legislation.

You'll be part of a supportive, informal team with diverse skills and backgrounds, working together to drive meaningful impact.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience working with supply chain traceability technology
  • has worked in a role where it was necessary to roll-out a new system, manage a budget (including forecast future costs), and ensure it met business needs
  • is confident to flag risks proactively, reach out to SMEs and users to understand their technical issues, and who is confident to deliver effective presentations to different audiences (from users to governance bodies).

Experience with Data Management with a good understanding of key business processes is an advantage.

If this has inspired you, please apply here! We look forward to hearing from you!

We’re an international organisation and our employees all demonstrate a level of cultural awareness, and value the diverse views and approaches relevant to the MSC program.

The MSC is committed to flexible working. The successful candidate will need to work from the London office for a minimum of 50% of their working time each month The remaining time can be worked from home. During the onboarding process, hybrid work may require more in-office work than remote work.
