MSC has been investing in its digital platforms for a number of years as part of the sixth pillar of our Corporate Strategy (“Enabling and resourcing a high performing global organisation”) and this role will help us to continue delivering on this strategic goal.
This role would work as part of a team of other Business Systems Managers within our Technology & Data team responsible for a diverse suite of IT systems supporting internal staff and external stakeholders.
You would be responsible for taking the lead on continuous development of some other existing platforms (e.g. Office 365). Additionally, we are still looking for someone who would take the lead in the replacement of our current Finance platform, from detailed requirements gathering through to go-live.
Experience of Finance systems and processes would be preferred, however a strong background in similar system transition will also be considered.
We are looking for someone who is independent and driven and will take the lead on gathering requirements, setting a delivery timeline in collaboration with other technology projects and the business constraints and has an understanding of how to measure success.
We are a predominantly Microsoft house so experience of collaborative working within Office 365/SharePoint are a must.
The role will be predominantly UK hours however the nature of the main project may require some weekend or out of hours working, particularly during the final stages.
