The board links directly to the career pages of ocean organizations and updates when jobs are posted or taken down. It's free to use, and all applications go directly to the hiring organization.

INTERN AT CORAL GARDENERS — Open Application

Coral Gardeners is a global organization with operations in French Polynesia, Fiji, and Thailand, on a mission to restore the world’s coral reefs by combining cutting-edge science with an unconventional, community-driven approach.

This is not a typical internship.

You'll work alongside a small, fast-moving team on real projects with real impact, whether that's in marine biology, data science, engineering, communications, operations, or something we haven't thought of yet.

We're looking for people who are resourceful, genuinely curious about ocean conservation, and comfortable figuring things out without a manual. If you need constant direction, this isn't for you. If you thrive with autonomy and care deeply about the mission, keep reading.

Practical details

Location depends on the team and your profile. Current possible placements include Mo'orea, Tahiti, California, and France. Some positions may be remote. Details will be confirmed during the process based on the team you're matched with.

We use a single application for all teams !

We don't post separate listings for each team. Instead, every internship candidate applies here. After submitting your CV, you'll complete a short questionnaire that helps us understand how you think, what you're drawn to, and where you could have the most impact.

Based on your answers, we'll either match you with the right team or let you know it's not the right fit. The questionnaire is a real part of the selection process. Be direct, be specific, be yourself. Generic or performative answers will stand out for the wrong reasons.
