Main mission:

The Partnerships Development Director is responsible for prospecting and acquiring new strategic partners within a defined geographical area. This key role aims to develop a high-impact partnership portfolio aligned with Coral Gardeners’ mission. Working closely with the CEO, the Partnerships Development Director ensures the organization’s revenue growth by securing new partnerships.

Responsibilities :

1. Business Development / Prospecting

  • Identify and target new potential partners within the assigned geographical area;

  • Develop and deliver compelling pitches to generate interest and initiate partnerships;

  • Lead negotiations through to partnership closure;

  • Ensure that each partnership aligns with Coral Gardeners’ values, strategic objectives, and partnership guidelines.

  • Take the lead on partnership renewals or upgrades;

  • Proactively propose long-term strategic developments and growth opportunities.

  • Strong negotiation skills;

  • Ability to navigate complex corporate environments;

  • Capacity to develop and execute long-term growth strategies;

  • Results-driven mindset;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or fundraising—ideally within an NGO or social impact organization;

  • University degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred);

  • Fluency in English and French.
