Job Summary
The Total Rewards Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the People Operations Team. The position will provide wide-ranging operational support to the People Operations team, with a particular focus on supporting the Total Rewards team. This role will provide operational support to ensure seamless, timely, and effective processes across a broad range of benefits, compensation, total rewards, and other people ops functions.Job Description
Essential Functions & Duties
Provide operational/administrative support for various total rewards projects (e.g., annual audits, benefits mailings, open enrollment, annual compensation cycle)
Support planning and execution of benefits events (e.g., benefits fair, retirement fair)
Review and approve benefit changes submitted in Workday and process related benefits transactions in external vendor systems
Process and/or review employee status changes in Workday and draft confirmation emails
Coordinate and execute weekly benefits orientations for new staff
Respond to email and phone inquiries from staff, retirees, and benefit vendors, including researching and troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed
Coordinate review and processing of monthly benefits invoices and annual PO process
Coordinate and execute recurring benefits projects (e.g., annual medical reimbursement process for retirees, dependent care reimbursement program)
Run basic reports and support with data audits
Maintain and update benefits and compensation intranet pages and supporting documents
Provide additional ad hoc support to the Total Rewards team and People Operations department
Required Experience & Education
2+ years of relevant HR/People Operations experience
Ability to communicate in written and verbal form with employees across all levels and functions
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (or Office online)
Attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to provide customer-service to a variety of employees
Preferred Experience & Education
Bachelors degree in HR or related field
Experience in JIRA
Experience in Workday
Experience in a non-profit, education, scientific, engineering or tech organization
