Job Description

Kipu is looking for an Implementation Project Manager to join our team. As the Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for the day-to-day management of multiple implementation projects for key clients. You will ensure the project scope is defined, create and maintain project schedules, and other project documents, hold teams and stakeholders accountable for project deliverables, and provide general direction to all project team members. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the project goals are completed, driving communication so that all project team members are aligned, and that client needs are met within a defined timeline.

***Preference will be given to candidates who live in Florida, as well as Salt Lake City, Utah and Phoenix, Arizona. ***

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform business requirements gathering and analysis and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Manage and prepare detailed analysis, plans, milestones, deliverables, and overall status updates.
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Manage the project schedule: maintain multi-product implementation project schedules for key clients in close partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain a seamless customer experience and overall satisfaction from the process and the results.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to fulfill client expectations and deadlines.
  • Effectively identify project risks and strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Coordinate and hold accountable the activities of project team to ensure project progresses on schedule.
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Ability to manage a risk log and drive action items to completion.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, executives, or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Support and lead cross functional teams in process improvement initiatives in alignment department and company objectives.

This role is for you if you have:

  • 5-7 years project management experience in Information Technology or Software Development using agile methodologies.
  • Certification in a Project Management discipline:
    • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Agile Project Manager (PMI-ACP)
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Critical thinker who can exercise good judgment in identifying problems, discrepancies, and concerns.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel).
  • Strong ability to understand technical concepts.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, be proactive, and self-motivate.
  • Team player with a strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required in MIS/CIS, computer science, business administration or related field a plus.
  • Atlassian (Jira & Confluence) knowledge a plus.
  • Salesforce/Financial Force experience a plus.
