Flint Riverkeeper is a membership organization whose mission is to restore and preserve the habitat, water quality and flow of the Flint River for the benefit of current and future generations and dependent wildlife. We work to restore and protect the quality and flow of this immensely valuable resource. The Flint River and associated aquifers provide water for drinking, swimming, fishing, commercial, industrial and agricultural pursuits for more than one-million people.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Watershed Specialist (Southern) will work under direction of the Director of Watershed Operations, generally responsible for patrol and enforcement-related actions in the southern portion of the Flint River watershed, Georgia. This position will also assist in programmatic outreach work. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required throughout the year.
