Puget Soundkeeper was the first grassroots organization dedicated solely to protecting and restoring the region’s marine environment. The organization works to ensure clean water and healthy ecosystems through on-the-water patrols, policy advocacy, legal enforcement, and community engagement. POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a passionate, community-focused professional committed to healthy watersheds and safe communities who can help drive the progress needed to protect and enhance the Sound for the people, tribes, and ecosystems that rely on clean water. Through environmental enforcement, administrative and agency advocacy, strategic litigation, and community lawyering, our team maintains a robust, Sound-wide litigation and environmental enforcement docket and works with stakeholder groups across the region and nation. The Staff Attorney will lead our legal enforcement, administrative advocacy, and community-based lawyering, including collaboration with partners, community stakeholders, outside counsel, and the public.
