Bayou City Waterkeeper is hiring a full-time Operations Manager to ensure the organization’s systems run smoothly and effectively to support its mission.

ABOUT BAYOU CITY WATERKEEPER

Bayou City Waterkeeper is a water justice organization working across the Lower Galveston Bay watershed, encompassing greater Houston, for more than two decades. With law and science, we work with local communities to build power, fill gaps in regulatory enforcement, and push back against water injustices and irresponsible development. Our organizational values are interconnectivity, fluidity, bold action, justice and equity, and regeneration.

POSITION SUMMARY

We seek a self-directed team player who thrives in ambiguity, helping to build new systems where none existed, and bring clarity to complex, evolving situations. Someone who can look at processes and determine the system that will enable and sustain success, since they will be responsible for managing the operational and financial functions of BCWK. The Operations Manager will ensure our team is resourced, accountable, supported, and free to focus on building power for water justice in Houston.
