Potomac Riverkeeper Network is hiring a full-time Virginia Campaign Coordinator to advance PRKN’s key advocacy campaigns.

PRKN’s mission is to protect the public’s right to clean water in the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers and their tributaries. We stop pollution to safeguard drinking water, protect river habitats, and ensure that everyone can enjoy these vital natural resources.

Position Summary

We seek a passionate, community-focused professional with a commitment to clean water and healthy communities who can help drive the progress needed to protect and enhance Virginia’s waterways. Through strategic communications, community engagement, and public advocacy, our Virginia Campaign Coordinator will play a critical role in advancing key advocacy campaigns, including those focused on water pollution, coal ash, and PFAS contamination. This position will lead efforts to develop compelling campaign materials, represent the organization in public forums, and engage with policymakers to advance clean water protections across the state.
