Calusa Waterkeeper, a rapidly growing grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the Caloosahatchee River from Lake Okeechobee to the coastal waters of Southwest Florida, is seeking an experienced fundraiser with superior networking abilities to join their team.

ABOUT CALUSA WATERKEEPER
Calusa Waterkeeper, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to protecting and restoring the waters of the Caloosahatchee River & Estuary, Lake Okeechobee, Nicodemus Slough, Charlotte Harbor, Estero Bay, the nearshore waters of Lee County, and their surrounding watersheds. Through advocacy, education, and the promotion of responsible use, they work to ensure these vital waterways are clean and accessible for all. Founded in 1995 as the Caloosahatchee River Citizens Association (Riverwatch), they joined Waterkeeper Alliance as an Affiliate in 2015 and became a full Member in 2016, adopting the name Calusa Waterkeeper, Inc. POSITION SUMMARY
This organization is seeking an experienced fundraiser with superior networking abilities, including a history of successful fundraising and donor development in Southwest Florida, particularly in Lee County. The Fundraising and Donor Relations Manager will develop in-depth knowledge of the organization and lead the development and implementation of a robust fundraising strategy to increase funding revenue and sustain the organization’s work.
