Position: Field Organizers and Remote Organizers
Location: Seeking Field Organizers and remote organizers to recruit, train, and build relationships with environmental members in: Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and WI.
Field Organizers will recruit, train and empower volunteers to build support for environmental champions through phone calls and digital organizing tools, including peer-to-peer texting and other in-person and virtual volunteer activities.
Field Organizers will work alongside a team of organizers and a Regional Field Director on the project and will be based out of a campaign office in the one of the following cities: Phoenix or Tuscon, AZ; Atlanta, GA; Des Moines, IA; Portland or Bangor, Maine; Kalamazoo or Lansing, MI; Manchester or Portsmouth/Seacoast, NH; Hempsted or Long Beach, NY; Charlotte or Raleigh, NC; Columbus, OH; Harrisburg, PA; Richmond, Henrico or Virginia Beach, VA; and La Crosse or Eau Claire, WI.
Successful candidates have at least one cycle of community, issue, labor, or political organizing, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to build relationships in-person and remotely, reliable transportation, and must work well in a team. The position requires extensive volunteer recruitment, including phone banking, text banking, and volunteer training and management, a laptop, and a willingness to work evening and weekend hours.

Work hours vary from standard office hours and include Saturdays. Laptop and reliable internet a must.
Compensation: This position is salaried and monthly salary is $3,475. In addition to a monthly salary, healthcare is offered as well as a $700 signing bonus to be paid at the end of each month employed, and a $300 month stipend for cell/internet and transportation. At the end of their commitment, organizers will have access to career coaching services from NRG Consulting Group, which includes a 1:1 meeting with the career coach and three group coaching sessions.
Duration: This position is full-time, salaried and temporary through November 13, 2026.
