Project – Life Restore Seagrass

About the opportunity and tasks involved

Seagrass monitoring.
Seagrass mapping.
Invasive species removal
Opportunity to integrate other research teams on seagrass.
Chance to be a part of an international habitat restoration project.
Scuba diving, snorkeling.

Requirements

Advanced scuba diver course or equivalent.
25 scuba dives.
Boat license.
Driver’s license.
Be a student at the University of Algarve or be part of an Erasmus program.

What will you gain with this opportunity

Rescue diving course.
Oxygen administration and CPR course.
Diploma of participation.
Experience in species identification.
Potential to collaborate with other research teams focused on seagrass ecosystems.
Opportunity to contribute to a global initiative in habitat restoration.
