Under the overall supervision of the Director of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe (UNESCO Regional Bureau) and the direct supervision of the Head of Sarajevo Antenna, the incumbent provides support with coordination and management of the projects and activities related to the Culture sector as well as activities related to the monitoring and evaluation, including the statistical and administrative frameworks in relation to 2030 Agenda.
The incumbent will be responbsible for the following:
1. Support the development and implementation of the UNESCO cultural programme of work in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other Members States as deemed necessary, with a focus on contributing to context analysis, while making recommendations to the supervisor, with regards to all culture related projects focused on the promotion of culture for development:
2. Support in ensuring timely, efficient and effective management of the project and the implementation of the planned activities; in line with the approved overall documents, workplans and budget, as well as support preparation of project review/evaluation meetings, and discussions, and participation of UNESCO in UNSDCFs and One UN programmes.

UNESCO’s salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits which may include if applicable: 30 days annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, pension plan etc.
The approximate annual starting salary for this post is 88 123 BAM.
