REPORTS TO: People and Culture Manager

STATUS: Full time, non-exempt

LOCATION: Bellingham, WA (hybrid)

SALARY RANGE: $35.00-$42.00/ hour

JOB SUMMARY:

The People and Talent Partner will serve internal and external customers in support of Tidal Vision’s growth. Internal customer communication can include but is not limited to: benefits, payroll, retirement, offboarding, training, and general inquiries. External communications can include recruitment and onboarding. The right candidate will collaborate with HR partners and leadership to continue developing Tidal Vision’s unique company culture, and implement strategies to streamline processes and delivery.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate within our mission driven culture
  • Support hiring and recruitment for all business lanes
  • Implement strategies to improve internal communication across the organization
  • Onboarding new hires
  • Assist employees with questions on their benefits, pay, retirement, and related issues
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for process improvement
  • Aid with compliance reporting and other reporting duties
  • Willing to travel occasionally

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct professional interviews
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple requisitions, candidates, and scheduling requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience with ADP
  • Experience in HR compliance (EEO-1, CA pay laws, out of state/country employment, etc.)
  • Experience conducting new hire orientations

Licensing & Special Requirements

  • Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Most of the work is performed in an office environment. Sitting or standing for long periods may be required.
