STATUS: Exempt

SALARY RANGE: $120,000-$150,000/year based on experience & qualifications

LOCATION: Remote, USA

Job Summary:

The Product Integration Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships with current and prospective customers, and collaborating with research and development teams to improve and create products. This person will interact with customers and their technical teams to gain the context needed to drive development forward. In addition, this role requires travel to business sites, prospective partnership locations, trade shows, and related experiences. The ideal candidate will have a scientific background with experience managing business development in industries such as: PFAS, plastics, oil and gas, textiles, or other related industries.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with commercial teams, driving product development with complete contextual knowledge and taking advantage of cross pollination and the learnings that occur between different divisions.
  • Planning and executing projects targeting product improvement, innovation, and implementation.
  • Foster customer relationships, understand customer needs, make recommendations, and communicate client needs to R&D teams.
  • Effectively communicate with laboratory, production, and manufacturing teams to improve methods and improve production output.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations to meet and gain context of current infrastructure requirements to bring product solutions to commercialization and/or determine scalability of our solutions in their facility.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field and 5+ years experience in Business Development/Product Integration role OR 7+ years experience in a Business Development role dedicated to product improvement and experience in the PFAS, plastic, textile, oil and gas or related industry.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse teams in laboratory, production, marketing, and other settings.
  • Interface with a diverse customer base, including but not limited to industries such as plastics, packaging, textiles, paper, paint, oil and gas, etc.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time to business locations and customer locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in scientific or related field with 5+ years in a Business Development/Product Integration role dedicated to product development and improvement, ideally with experience in the PFAS, plastic, textile, oil and gas or related industry.
  • Experience with bio-polymer research.
  • Experience with Joint Development Agreements.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Work is performed in a remote office setting. This position will be expected to travel to sites regularly. Hiring is conditional upon background check.
