Business Partnership Manager

As Business Partnership Manager it is your responsibility to establish, monitor, evaluate and nurture business partnerships and relationships with potential business partners in Brazil. This includes engagements with businesses, vendors,suppliers, clients and stakeholders. Your role and work will be the primary driver of the success and impact of both Plastic Bank and its potential Business Partners.

Key to your success is your knowledge and experience in Partnership Management, Business development and growth, strategic thinking, and innovation to name a few.

As Business Partnership Manager your responsibilities will be the following:

  1. Operations:
  1. Setting up of Business Partnership: Take the lead in establishing Business Partnership ensuring creation, implementation and compliance to mutually beneficial and agreed upon standards and protocols especially those set by Plastic Bank’s International Certifications and Code of Conduct.
  2. Training and Development: Mentor and guide Business Partners as implementing and managing the Business Partnership and Ecosystem with regard to the Partner Model. Training and Development shall also especially cover Alchemy, Plastic Bank’s core technology for traceability and verifiability.
  3. Engage in multi-sectoral support to support the establishment, operations and growth of the Business Partnership.
  4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor closely the performance of the partnership, find solutions to challenging areas and suggest areas of improvement and potential growth opportunities.
  5. Strategic and Growth Planning: Work closely with the Business Partner in improving efficiency and effectiveness of members and partner/collection branches as well as the overall growth and expansion of the partnership.
  6. Support Plastic Bank’s Marketing and P.R. campaigns especially those related to Social Impact and community engagement.
  7. Data and App Management: Ensure proper utilization and performance of alchemy and be on top on this accuracy and updatedness of important data and metrics.
  1. Business Development:
  1. Prospecting: Generate leads and engage potential partners
  2. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring that terms are favorable and mutually beneficial. Manage contract renewals and amendments as necessary.
  3. Relationship Building and Strengthening:Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners. This involves regular communication, meetings, and understanding the partner's needs and goals.
  4. Strategic and Growth Planning: Closely engage the partners to explore and implement areas of growth, expansion and further success.
  5. Documentation and Reporting: Gather data and generate reports that are crucial for business success and are required by the partner.


Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Business, Management Entrepreneurship or equivalent

- At least 5 years working experience in business partnerships and negotiation

- Knowledge, experience and networks in the recycling and packaging industry

- Tech-savy and able to learn quickly

- Agile and ready to easily adjust to business and industry changes

- Strong leadership and able to work with minimal supervision

- Maturity and able to meet and negotiate with top executives and business owners
