The Ocean Foundation, a DC-based non-profit international community foundation is looking for a Program Operations Associate to join our team!
The Program Operations Associate position will support TOF’s Fiscal Sponsorship Program and core programmatic administrative and operational activities. Fiscal Sponsorship at TOF refers to the practice of providing back-office services to individuals and organizations carrying out marine-focused projects around the world.
Primary functions include contract development and oversight, grant administration and reporting, data entry and systems oversight, and client and donor management. Key objectives of the position include; advancing operational efficiency, maintaining strong partner relations, and improving data management. As a core guiding value TOF works to foster greater diversity, equity, and inclusion in the design and execution of all programs. The Program Operations Associate position is instrumental in maintaining those core value standards across the Fiscal Sponsorship Program.
Qualifications:
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Minimum 2-year experience
- Salesforce or any CRM experience is a plus
- Financial and contract management experience is a plus
- Spanish language is a plus
- Prefer candidate reside in DMV area as working from office periodically is necessary
