The Mission to Seafarers
The Mission to Seafarers seeks an Individual Giving Manager to develop and execute our Individual Giving strategy, growing individual income to meet fundraising objectives and growth targets.
Working closely with the Director of Development, you’ll develop and execute an ambitious and sustainable Individual Giving strategy to increase donations from existing donors and expand our donor base. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaigns across digital, direct marketing, events and face-to-face channels, creating compelling fundraising copy and building targeted donor communications. You’ll manage the legacy pipeline and In Memoriam fundraising, initiate a Legacy Marketing campaign, identify and manage High Value donors, and manage relationships with external creative, digital marketing and direct marketing agencies. You’ll use data and insights to inform targeting, segmentation and campaign development, monitor and report on KPIs, and collaborate with internal teams to build seamless supporter journeys.
This role requires an excellent track record in individual giving, direct marketing or a related fundraising role, with proven experience of building and executing a successful Individual Giving strategy and managing multi-channel campaigns to meet ambitious income targets. Strong experience of CRM databases, digital fundraising platforms and analytics tools is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to craft compelling fundraising copy. Experience of legacy administration is a distinct advantage. Applicants must have the right to live and work permanently in the UK.
