The Mission to Seafarers
The Mission to Seafarers seeks a creative and curious Social Media Intern passionate about digital storytelling, online trends, and creating engaging content with social impact.
Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll research emerging trends across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. You’ll generate creative ideas for campaigns and engagement strategies, assist in developing multimedia content including graphics, videos, reels and stories, support copywriting and scheduling across our social channels, and monitor engagement to identify what content resonates most.
This 6-month fixed term contract offers hands-on experience in nonprofit digital marketing and the opportunity to amplify the voices and experiences of seafarers worldwide.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, journalism, public relations or related field. You should be enthusiastic about social media and digital culture, have excellent communication skills, and be familiar with major platforms with experience creating content for organisations. Basic knowledge of design or video-editing tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
