Are you technically minded and passionate about sustainability? Join our Technology & Operations team to help improve how we operate and maintain our Bubble Barrier systems. You will gain hands-on experience supporting optimisation and maintenance of innovative environmental solutions. You will be working on: Lifecycle Analysis (assessing key subcomponents), Workflow Mapping (maintenance and operations processes), Data Analysis (reviewing system performance for preventive maintenance), Forecasting & Scheduling (maintenance forecasting models and risk-based schedules), and Collaboration (translating insights into practical improvements). You will gain experience in lifecycle assessment and circularity analysis, maintenance and asset-management strategies, data collection/processing and performance analysis, technical documentation and workflow optimisation, working with water-sector sustainability technologies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Skills & Qualifications: relevant studies such as Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science & Sustainability, or Maritime Technology/Water Management; interest in technical systems, maintenance planning, data analysis, or lifecycle assessment; strong communication skills; working proficiency in English; mission alignment with ocean health and sustainability. Work Requirements: 32 hours per week; Location: office-based in Amsterdam with flexibility for remote work; Permit: based in the Netherlands with an EU working permit; Duration: minimum 12 weeks. What we offer: 375 EUR gross per month; transport compensation (public transport); flexible hours/remote possible; room for ideas/creativity; free lunch, social drinks, and team events.
