We are seeking a Research Assistant for the “Conservation of threatened populations of small landbirds” project. The role involves searching for and monitoring bird nests, evaluating methods to control the avian vampire fly, and helping coordinate conservation activities on Santa Cruz and other islands. The data generated will support innovative strategies to protect Galapagos landbirds at greatest risk of extinction. We are looking for a motivated professional with experience working with birds and conducting fieldwork, committed to conserving Galapagos biodiversity.
