SWEN Capital Partners is seeking to reinforce its SWEN Blue Ocean team by hiring an Intern (F/M) for a period of 6 months in its Paris office, starting from January / March. SWEN Blue Ocean invests in innovations that help regenerate ocean health and achieve SDG14, with the aim to deliver both systemic impact and competitive market returns. The team launched the Blue Ocean fund in September 2021 at the IUCN's World Conservation Congress, in scientific partnership with Ifremer, France's leading ocean science institute. The fund invests in solutions to overfishing, ocean pollution and climate change. Blue Ocean was recognized as one of the top 40 European Impact PE funds by Real Deal and PER. The investment strategy focuses on Series A investments, mainly in Europe.

Main responsibilities: • Support the SWEN Blue Ocean team across their duties, including: o Dealflow, screen and source investment opportunities o Investment o Market Intelligence and strategy (ocean impact research, market studies) o Communication and promotion event mapping, organization of meetings or events) Support includes, but is not limited to data gathering and analysis, preparation of presentation …

Required skills: • MSc. in Engineering candidate or equivalent. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. • Entrepreneurial mindset and genuinely committed to impact. • Passionate about the environment and motivated to regenerate ocean health. • Team player and solid interpersonal skills. • English is needed, other languages will be valued. • Truly autonomous person, who is willing to take initiatives.

The Intern will report to Julie Peyrache, Investment Director at SWEN Blue Ocean team and will work with the entire team, composed of six investment professionals.
