🚀 The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to help ensure the financial health of our global organization. You'll play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, strengthening financial processes, and providing accurate, timely financial information that supports informed decision-making.

🚀 What You'll Be Doing

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis

  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

  • Prepare financial models, budget-to-actual analyses, and variance explanations.

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management.

  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, presentations, and ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Grant Financial Management & Donor Reporting

  • Maintain grant budgets, tracking schedules, and financial reporting calendars.

  • Monitor grant expenditures for compliance with approved budgets and donor requirements.

  • Prepare grant financial reports, expenditure schedules, reimbursement requests, and supporting documentation.

  • Partner with program managers to review spending, resolve variances, support grant closeouts, and ensure timely donor reporting.

  • Assist with labor allocations and indirect cost calculations related to grants and contracts.

Resource Planning & Financial Operations

  • Maintain employee charging plans within the ERP system and ensure labor costs are accurately allocated across grants, contracts, and operational activities.

  • Coordinate with Finance, People & Culture, and program teams on staffing assignments, funding availability, and resource planning.

  • Support analyses related to labor utilization, project performance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance operations.

Financial Reporting, Systems, & Data Management

  • Maintain and validate financial data within ERP and reporting systems.

  • Generate standard and custom financial reports, dashboards, and schedules.

  • Perform reconciliations, data validation, and quality assurance reviews to ensure reporting accuracy.

  • Support system enhancements, reporting improvements, and finance process automation initiatives.

Accounting, Audit, & Compliance Support

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entry support, and financial analyses.

  • Support expense allocations, indirect cost calculations, and compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for annual audits and regulatory reporting.

  • Maintain financial procedures, documentation, and internal controls while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.

🎯 What We're Looking For

Education

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
✔ Professional certifications in a related field are an asset (not required)

Experience

✔ 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
✔ International NGO/Nonprofit (highly preferred)
✔ International donor-funded projects (highly preferred)
✔ ERP system (e.g., Unanet [bonus points], Oracle, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP) (preferred)
✔ Grant management and financial reporting
✔ Budgeting and forecasting processes
✔ Donor compliance requirements management (preferred)
✔ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
✔ Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
✔ Outstanding analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
✔ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

💰 Salary range: IDR 375,763,636 - 466,672,727 annually
🏡 Fully remote work
