Help Shape the Future of Sustainable Fisheries in Northwest Africa
Healthy fisheries are essential to food security, coastal livelihoods, and thriving marine ecosystems. As a collaborator in the second Global Marine Commodities Project (GMC2), Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) is working with governments, seafood industry leaders, regional organizations, and development partners to strengthen fisheries management across the Canary Current Large Marine Ecosystem (CCLME).
SFP is looking for an experienced fisheries professional to help lead that effort. The position is funded for five years by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

You’ll work alongside governments, industry, NGOs, and local partners to improve fisheries governance, strengthen seafood value chains, and deliver meaningful conservation and development outcomes
If you're motivated by collaborative problem-solving, enjoy building partnerships across cultures and institutions, and want your work to have lasting regional impact, we'd love to hear from you.
