The Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour—produced by South Yuba River Citizens League—is looking for a dynamic, detail-driven coordinator to help bring environmental storytelling to life in communities around the world. Each year, we partner with 100+ organizations to deliver turnkey film events that inspire action, build community, and drive real impact. This role sits at the center of it all—supporting partners, managing operations, and ensuring every event runs seamlessly from behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the engine that keeps On Tour moving—balancing logistics, relationships, and systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Drive operations: Coordinate event logistics, manage materials, oversee shipping, and keep timelines and deliverables on track
- Manage systems: Keep everything organized and flowing across platforms like HubSpot, Google Maps, and Vimeo
- Create & communicate: Build marketing materials, update event pages, and track social posts across digital channels using tools like Canva
- Keep things running smoothly: Handle the details that matter—tracking analytics to maintaining resources and templates
- Spread the word:
Assist the On Tour Manager and Festival Director to identify new hosts interested in inspiring their communities and generating revenue by hosting WSFF On Tour events.

Film Festival On Tour Coordinator
Position Overview
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour program, produced by South Yuba River Citizens League, partners with organizations around the world to deliver turnkey film events that drive fundraising, membership, and environmental engagement. The On Tour Coordinator is a highly organized, proactive team member who manages internal systems, and maintains program quality across 100+ annual events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing logistics with relationship-building, and can manage multiple priorities with precision.
Core Responsibilities
In-House Operations
- Coordinate all logistics for assigned events, including timelines, materials, and deliverables
- Manage event kit production and shipping, including return tracking
- Maintain and update marketing collateral, program materials, and internal resources
- Track sponsor swag inventory and support fulfillment needs
- Monitor resource use data and ensure all digital assets remain up to date
Outreach & Partner Support
- Identify opportunities to enhance host events and increase engagement with their audience
- Research and develop new host leads and expansion opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing to amplify partner events and social presence
Administrative & Creative Support
- Design promotional assets, one-sheets, and graphics
- Build and update templates, communications, and seasonal materials
- Maintain digital asset organization (logos, images, URLs)
- Support social media coordination and host engagement channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or substantial work experience in similar roles required.
- Detail-oriented with superior customer service, sales experience, event production experience, excellent phone manners, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious, accountable, and provides follow-through on areas of responsibility.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
- Experience working in a high-energy office setting; non-profit work experience a plus.
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff and volunteers.
- Required computer skills: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva
Physical Requirements
- Able to work on a computer for up to 8 hours a day and sit at a desk for extended periods; to read a computer screen and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard.
- Able to speak clearly on the phone and in person and be understood by others.
- Able to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 30-40 pounds.
