We operate hands-on projects across Southeast Asia, where our field teams, logistics operations, and material recovery facilities play a critical role in delivering real impact.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, highly organised Human Resources Coordinator to support our Batam operations.

This role goes beyond traditional HR, you will be embedded in our day-to-day operations, supporting workforce management, site administration, and ensuring smooth coordination across teams at our project sites and facilities (port/MRF operations).

You must be comfortable working on-site, operationally involved, and close to field teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Workforce Management

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and off-
  • boarding, including employment contracts (PKWT/PKWTT)
  • Maintain accurate employee records (contracts, attendance, compliance documentation)
  • Support daily workforce coordination (attendance tracking, shift planning, leave management)
  • Act as the HR point of contact on-site for staff queries and support

2. Payroll & Administration Support

  • Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions)
  • Ensure accurate processing of BPJS Kesehatan & BPJS Ketenagakerjaan registration, updates, and contributions;
  • Coordinate with finance for timely payroll execution
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, BPJS, PPh 21 and deductions

3. Compliance & Labour Regulations

  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws and local regulations
  • Maintain updated HR policies and ensure adherence on-site
  • Support audits and maintain proper HR documentation

4. Operations & Site Support

  • Work closely with Operations teams to support day-to-day activities at project sites
  • Assist with logistics coordination, workforce planning, and operational admin
  • Be present on-site to ensure smooth communication between management and field teams

5. Performance & Employee Relations

  • Support performance tracking and basic performance improvement processes
  • Handle employee concerns professionally and proactively
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and high-performance work environment

6. HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Improve HR processes to increase efficiency and clarity
  • Support internal initiatives related to team engagement and retention
  • Contribute to building scalable HR systems for growing operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in operations-heavy environments (manufacturing, logistics, construction, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labour laws and HR compliance
  • Experience supporting blue-collar / field teams is highly preferred
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working on-site in Batam and engaging directly with operational teams
  • Strong communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia required, English is a plus)
  • Proactive, practical, and solutions-driven mindset
