We're on a mission to expand our projects globally and are looking for a Sales Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in turning this vision into reality.
Position: Sales Director
At Seven Clean Seas, we're passionate about cleaning up the ocean and fostering positive change. We work closely with global clients, including notable organizations such as The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (Qatar World Cup 2022), The Economist, SALT Brewery, and Lunar. As a Sales Director, you will collaborate closely with our co-founders, Chief Commercial Officer and existing salesforce to lead, shape, and expand our partnership base. Your work will directly contribute to removing more plastic from the ocean while nurturing and growing our client relationships.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance and support.
- Take an active, hands-on role in the sales process, from identifying prospects to closing deals.
- Utilize sales automation technology effectively to generate and nurture leads.
- Establish and communicate KPIs and sales targets for both the team and individual members.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, plans, and assist with tender documents and contracts as needed.
- Engage with secured clients to ensure ongoing successful relationships and explore additional partnership opportunities.
- Analyze and track qualitative and quantitative KPIs using our CRM system (Hubspot).
- Proactively present ideas and opportunities for business growth to the team.
- A proactive, hands-on individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- 8+ years of experience in Sales or Partnership generation.
- Proven track record of successfully closing B2B deals.
- Experience in implementing, maintaining, and refining company-wide sales and partnership processes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
- A genuine passion for client satisfaction and commitment to our consultancy and ocean cleanup mission.
- Ability to identify and anticipate trends, creating opportunities for sales, growth, and partnerships.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High degree of customer empathy and a talent for crafting compelling stories.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Sustainability, GreenTech, or Social Impact startups.
- Adaptability in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments, with a willingness to adjust strategies based on changing conditions.
- Familiarity with sales processes through a CRM.
