We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our worldwide distribution network for geospatial products and solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong industry relationships and a passion for scaling global partnerships.

The position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, directly tied to distribution growth and revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global business development strategy for geospatial products
  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage international distributors, resellers, and strategic partners
  • Expand market presence across key regions (North America, EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
  • Negotiate distribution agreements, pricing structures, and channel incentives
  • Drive revenue growth through partner enablement, joint go‑to‑market efforts, and pipeline development
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and executive teams to align strategy and execution
  • Track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and report on channel effectiveness
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings (domestic and international travel required)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, channel sales, or partnerships, preferably within:
  • Geospatial technology
  • GIS software
  • Spatial data, mapping, remote sensing, or related fields
  • Proven track record of building and managing international distribution networks
  • Strong understanding of channel sales models and partner‑driven revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using NetSuite ERP
  • Existing relationships with geospatial distributors, integrators, or VARs
  • Familiarity with global markets and regional sales dynamics
