Trades Assistant / Construction Workers

2 x Full-time (fixed term) - Swansea

We are seeking 2 keen, hardworking, outdoor-loving personalities with general all-rounder civil construction, labourer/trades/maintenance skills and experience, who will form part of the project team responsible for the infrastructure and facility upgrade at our Swansea site.

The main duties will involve.

  • Assist the Project Manager, tradespeople, and contractors with construction and project management tasks.

  • Work collaboratively with project team members internally and externally.

  • Contribute ideas for project direction/planning based on skills and experience.

  • Civil / Building construction works.

  • Maintain plant and equipment.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who have;

  • A working knowledge of building trades, construction techniques, and or technical aquaculture experience.

  • Good organisational skills and a demonstrated capacity to work independently and within a team.

  • A high level of time management and prioritisation skills.

  • Reliable with a strong work ethic, e.g. a positive attitude with a strong focus on support.

  • Have a high focus on workplace safety and working knowledge of relevant WHS systems.

  • Current forklift licence.

  • White Card.

  • Experience with HDPE pipe and fittings and basic plumbing skills.

  • Experience with concrete construction, and finishing.

  • Excavator licence (preferred but not essential)

  • Telehandler licence (Preferred but not essential)
