Job Title: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Location: Aberdeen (with international travel)
Salary: up to £200,000 + 100% performance bonus + Equity

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion, ensuring alignment with Beam’s vision and goals.
- International Growth: Identify and capitalize on new international market opportunities, establishing Beam as a global leader in offshore wind services.
- Sales and Business Development: Oversee the global sales function, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to secure high-value contracts and projects.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity.
- Partnerships and Alliances: Forge strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance Beam's service offerings, technological capabilities, and market presence.
- Financial Management: Drive commercial performance, ensuring targets for revenue, profitability, and growth are met or exceeded.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in a senior commercial role, preferably within the renewable energy, marine, or technology sectors.
- Global Perspective: Demonstrated success in leading international business development and market expansion initiatives.
- Strategic Acumen: Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with the ability to translate vision into actionable, measurable outcomes.
- Leadership Excellence: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a history of driving performance and fostering a collaborative, high-energy work environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the offshore wind industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and technological advancements.
- Financial Savvy: Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance metrics.
- Educational Background: Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
