Position Title: Fisheries Program Manager Reports to: Executive Director Status: Full-Time, Exempt Location: Annapolis, Maryland Position SummaryThe Fisheries Program Manager provides leadership for ORP's Sustainable Fisheries & Seafood Program by managing a diverse portfolio of projects that strengthen commercial fisheries, advance oyster aquaculture, support seafood market development, and improve science-based fisheries management throughout the Chesapeake Bay. The Fisheries Program Manager will oversee established initiatives including ORP's successful derelict crab trap removal program and fisheries data modernization efforts while helping shape the future direction of the program through strategic partnerships and the development of new opportunities that strengthen sustainable fisheries, expand seafood markets, and support the long-term economic vitality of Maryland's seafood industry and coastal communities. The successful candidate will be expected to expand ORP's fisheries portfolio by identifying funding opportunities, leading competitive grant proposals, and cultivating new partnerships. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines project management, stakeholder engagement, scientific and technical expertise, business development, grant leadership, and industry collaboration within one of the nation's leading restoration organizations.
