Position Title: Chief Operating Officer Reports to: Executive Director Status: Full-Time, Exempt Location: Annapolis, Maryland Position SummaryThe Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as a key member of ORP's Senior Leadership Team and strategic partner to the Executive Director. The COO provides leadership for the organization’s internal operations, including human resources, administration, organizational systems, and business processes. As ORP continues to expand its restoration, fisheries, and aquaculture initiatives throughout the Chesapeake Bay, the COO will strengthen organizational capacity, improve operational effectiveness, and ensure that internal systems support long-term success. This role serves as the Executive Director’s primary partner for internal management and organizational development. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day operational management in a growing, mission-driven organization. About ORPThe Oyster Recovery Partnership (ORP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to maximizing the ecological, economic, and societal benefits of healthy estuarine ecosystems, with a focus on the Chesapeake Bay.
