Job Summary | The College of Business invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, tenure-track Assistant, or tenured Associate or Full Professor: Business Analytics position. Assistant Professor rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate. Any hiring at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor with indefinite tenure will be subject to a successful out-of-cycle tenure review process:https://facultyaffairs.oregonstate.edu/out-cycle-tenure-review-procedure. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to establishing and maintaining a strong program of research resulting in top peer-reviewed journal publications, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, and providing service to the college, university, and academic discipline. Service requirements are greater at the Associate and Full Professor ranks. Key Responsibilities | 45% – Teaching: Primary teaching duties include designing, preparing, and delivering undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Business Analytics and/or Business Information Systems in in-person, asynchronous online, or hybrid modalities, as assigned. Provide mentoring and opportunities for students from underrepresented groups; enable the advancement of diverse perspectives; and promote equitable outcomes among learners of diverse and underrepresented identity groups. 45% – Scholarship: Scholarship duties entail dissemination of scholarly research through impactful peer-reviewed outlets, including but not limited to top journals in business and related fields. 10% – Service: Service duties include engagement in activities within the University and the profession, including contributing to the College and University strategic initiatives and scholarly activities that enhance the reputation of the College. |
