Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (maximum of 24 hours per week) Contributing Photographer position for the communications and marketing team in the Oregon State University Division of Extension and Engagement. The primary focus of this position is to work with the unit’s communication and marketing professionals to develop photographic content to support Extension and engagement educational, public information and/or marketing efforts. This position will provide experience in the context of professional communications for an Extension Service at a land grant university. Photo assignments will occur at OSU and community locations throughout Oregon. Pay rate: $21 hourly (a flat rate that includes both taking and editing photos and corresponding with colleagues to plan for assignments) Travel expenses will be reimbursed. This position does not have a regular, set schedule and hours are variable depending on assignments. |

5 % Other duties Based on skill and interest, may occasionally contribute visual communication expertise to other projects and assignments, including basic videography. Student will meet with supervisor as needed in person (OSU campus, Corvallis, OR) or virtually (Teams/Zoom) as needed. Student must have access to professional photography equipment. We can lend some equipment based on availability. |

This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard 125-155-0200) as per OSU Standard 576-056-0000 et seq. |
