Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill two (2) part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week during class sessions and up to 40 hours per week when classes are not in session) Grounds and Maintenance positions for Oregon State University (OSU) Athletics Facility Operations. This position is for a student to assist the Facilities and Maintenance Team members with routine athletic grounds and maintenance tasks at all athletic venues and home sporting events. This position will help maintain and set up athletic facilities and department equipment for activities & events associated with Athletics. Projects include working directly with the Facilities maintenance team, painting athletic fields, maintaining surface playability, and general landscaping tasks. Individuals will complete routine grounds and maintenance tasks, performing general turf work on natural and artificial surfaces and assisting with small facility projects. This student will receive guidance from the OSU Athletics Facility and Maintenance team |

This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard 125-155-0200) as per OSU Standard 576-056-0000 et seq. |
