| Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week during the term and up to 40 hours per week when not enrolled) Student Technical Assistant position(s) for the Department of Horticulture at Oregon State University (OSU). Performs light to heavy tasks such as lab and greenhouse experiments, controlled pollinations, plant care, grounds maintenance, field assistance, maintenance support, cleaning, and other duties to assist with the mission of the ornamental plant breeding program. Students with a strong research interest will have an opportunity and are encouraged to conduct independent experiments and pursue scientific curiosity. |
