Position Summary | We’re hiring 2 part-time (up to 10 hours a week) Social Media Content Creators to join the Community Relations and Marketing team at OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon.In this role, you’ll help drive the creative direction of our presence on TikTok and Instagram Reels, showcasing what life is like on campus and around Bend. From capturing outdoor adventures to highlighting campus culture, you’ll help show what OSU-Cascades is all about, directly from a student’s perspective.This is a fun role designed to give you real-world digital marketing experience that’s transferable to your resume, internships, and future career. You’ll be encouraged to experiment, try out-of-the-box ideas, and develop skills in content creation, social strategy, and audience engagement. Along the way, you’ll be mentored by your supervisor, who will help you learn about the social media and content landscape while supporting your creative growth. You’ll also have access to equipment like tripods and mics to help bring your vision to life.We’re looking for students who are comfortable in front of the camera and willing to interview peers, try trends, and put themselves out there in creative ways. Playfulness and personality are welcome — we want authentic student voices to shine.Pay is $18/hour. |

Position Duties | 70% Video Production and Posting Create and publish 1–2 TikTok/Reels each week across OSU-Cascades accounts, showcasing student life, academics, campus events, and the Bend community. Use your creativity, humor, and perspective to produce authentic content that resonates with prospective and current students. 10% Creative Brainstorming Attend a weekly 1-hour content meeting in-person with your supervisor and fellow student creator to share ideas, collaborate on trends, and plan upcoming posts. 10% Engagement and Analytics Respond to TikTok comments, interact with followers, and track engagement. Review analytics to learn what’s working and adjust content strategies. 10% Other Duties as Assigned Contribute to special projects, assist with creative campaigns, or test out new social ideas that help tell the OSU-Cascades story. |
