| Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill five part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Learning Assistant for the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University (OSU). Successful applicants will be contacted as positions become available. Applicants must be enrolled as degree-seeking undergraduate students at OSU for consideration. |

| Position Duties | Learning Assistants assist instructors in College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science courses by facilitating student work in active learning settings such as lab and recitation sections 85% – Working with students in active learning settings (ie: lab and recitation classrooms, help sessions, online) 15% – Preparing for facilitation by meeting with course faculty, reviewing/completing course materials, training for being an LA (one time orientation) |
