Position Summary | Looking to gain real-world experience while building skills that will set you apart in your future career? The Office of Enrollment Services at OSU-Cascades is seeking highly motivated Peer Mentors to help guide the OSU-Cascades community in navigating enrollment services and financial literacy. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for you to develop valuable professional skills in customer service, financial literacy, mentoring, and public speaking—all of which are highly transferable to any career field! As a Peer Mentor, you will work directly with students and families to provide one-on-one peer advising – including financial literacy, assist in workshops and presentations, and be a front-line resource for students needing assistance. You’ll gain hands-on experience that will sharpen your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, while helping others succeed. Paid Training for this position will take place during the spring term, including comprehensive training on enrollment services, paying for college, and financial literacy. Ongoing professional development will ensure you continue learning and improving throughout the academic year.
