Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill 20 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week, and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks) Student Outreach Assistant (Peer Mentor) positions for the Department of Precollege Programs at Oregon State University (OSU). Students will mentor K-12 students during Campus Field Trips, STEM Academy programs, Beaver Hangout sessions, iINVENT sessions and/or other Precollege Programs. Students will support a wide range of youth outreach activities designed to increase college access and academic preparation for Oregon’s youth. Students may perform functions or duties that regularly require interaction with minors in a private setting or without direct supervision on-site. Will act as an ambassador and representative for both OSU and Precollege Programs at all times. Anticipated hourly rate: $16.00 |
