Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) undergraduate learning assistant (ULA) positions for the School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering (CBEE) at Oregon State University (OSU). These positions vary from 3-20 hours per week depending on the need and assignment. Work may be performed in classrooms, labs, or copy/supply room.. |

Position Duties | 90%: Duties include helping with 30-person studio sections, tutoring, leading study sessions, attending weekly meetings, holding office hours, copying materials for courses, and other tasks as needed by the supervising instructor. This position may also assist with grading via a grading rubric. Breakdown will vary by course. 10%: Attend and complete a pedagogy training course. |

Preferred (Special) Qualifications | · Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering major · Junior or above · Successful completion of the course they are supporting with a B+ or higher · Overall GPA greater than 3.0/Pre-core GPA greater than 3.2 · Comfortable leading sections of a class with 25-30 students each · A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. |
