Video Production Fellow

Do you want to turn ocean stories into videos that inspire people to act? Oceana is seeking a video production fellow to help bring its mission to life across digital platforms, with an emphasis on creating compelling content for Oceana’s YouTube channel.

The Video Production Fellow develops video projects from concept to completion, including scripting, filming, and editing short- and longer-form content for YouTube, social media, and other digital storytelling. The Fellow works with Oceana’s scientists and campaign teams to translate complex conservation topics into clear, accurate, and engaging video, while helping grow Oceana’s YouTube strategy through optimized titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and shorts. The Fellow also supports community management and brand-focused content and stays current on video trends and platform best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.

The Video Production Fellow works closely with the digital team and colleagues across the organization, and reports to the Social Media Manager. A strong visual storyteller with a portfolio, a passion for ocean conservation, and a willingness to learn will thrive in this role.

This is a full-time, term-limited position based in Washington, DC, with an end date of December 31, 2027.

The compensation for this position is $51,000 – $54,000 annually.

To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and portfolio by November 3, 2026.
