Role Summary
As the Fisheries & Grant Coordinator, you will coordinate and manage federal grant reporting requirements while supporting the Fisheries Science team with data analysis, documentation, technical assistance, and community engagement. By taking on grant compliance and administrative responsibilities, as well as contributing directly to the grant work itself once compliance reporting has been satisfied, you will enable the Science team to focus on delivering high quality sustainability outcomes with Indigenous fisheries partners, as per the grant requirements.
*Please note this is a fixed-term contract position that runs until October 2027*

Where and How You’ll Work
This is a full-time fixed-term position, with 37.5 hours per week, funded through to October 2027. The role is remote; however, the successful candidate must be based in Canada and legally eligible to work in Canada. Occasional flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate reporting deadlines or coordination with partners across time zones.
This role is primarily office based and involves working on a computer or laptop, participating in phone and video meetings, and engaging with internal and external partners through virtual platforms. The position involves extended periods of sitting, with occasional standing and light movement typical of a remote office environment. Travel is not anticipated as a regular requirement of this role.
